Superintendent's Message

SuperintendentDear Community Members,

On August 14th , St. Bernard-Elmwood Place students will begin their first full school year in our new K-12 building.  This state-of-the-art facility provides our students with an inspiring and comfortable learning environment.  Inside our building, we are adding signage, photos, and artwork that embody the Titan spirit and promote school pride.  On the outside, our parking lots and elementary playground projects continue toward completion.

We are proud to announce that all students in our school district will receive free
breakfast and lunch throughout the school year regardless of parental income.  A
nutritious breakfast and lunch are essential for our students’ health and academic
success.

This 2024-25 school year, we have several new teachers joining our dedicated staff:
Susan Fraley, Director of Curriculum, Literacy, & Instruction
      Melissa Grondon, Elementary Intervention Specialist
Shyanne Harper, 6th grade ELA teacher
      Mollie Shepherd, 3rd grade teacher
Sarah Mills, 4th grade ELA teacher
Chelsea Rose, Speech & Language Pathologist
      Madison Gilkey, 3rd grade teacher
      Madeline Mercado, Kindergarten teacher

These talented educators will bring fresh perspectives into our classrooms.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our school.  We look
forward to a wonderful year of growth, learning, and new opportunities.

Warm regards,

Mimi R. Webb
